This group is hosting an event here in Victoria to raise money for the ongoing community self improvement projects. These include water purification centres, schools for the children and small business creation projects for the local inhabitants. An example has been clothing and sewing machine donations from Canadians in BC to help clothe the locals and provide piece work job opportunities for the local women who can work out of their homes and care for the family.
